VIPCall makes a brief, warm phone call to someone you care about — every day, at the time you choose. After the call, you get a text with how they're doing: mood, health, anything notable. If something needs attention, it's flagged immediately. No apps. No devices. They just answer the phone.
How it started
VIPCall began as something deeply personal. I needed a better way to check on my dad every day.
He was living alone. His blood pressure would spike unpredictably. I couldn't always call, but I always wanted to know how he was doing — not just medically, but emotionally. Was he okay? What was he planning that day?
So I built a simple version: a daily phone call that asked him a few questions and texted me a summary. It worked. The relief was immediate. But it wasn't smart enough, and it wasn't built for other families yet.
That prototype became VIPCall — shaped with input from clinical psychologists, and now used by real families every day.
Our stance on ethical AI
We are unapologetically pro-human.
VIPCall is not a companion. It's not here to replace your calls, simulate affection, or pretend to be a friend. We believe those uses of AI are harmful.
VIPCall exists so that when you do call your parent, you already know how they're doing — and the conversation is real instead of a welfare check.
The calls are short. The summaries are honest. And the whole point is to make your relationship stronger, not to replace it with a screen.
